The TargetSource’s Community Practice leverages the firm’s extensive network of business relationships and experience to build successful and sustainable open source, technical and customer information communities. The practice comprises distinct services for defining and building communities, participating in existing ones, and leveraging social media. The practice emphasizes segmenting audiences, seeding compelling content and technology, reaching out to key stakeholders, incorporating real-world events, identifying and implementing effective metrics and social media monitoring of community profiles. 

  • Assess & Plan : Identify and understand Community Opportunities and Develop a Community Building Plan. In this phase, TargetSource identifies market opportunities and examines the potential audience and existing relevant community efforts. TargetSource has a proven process that examines market, product, competitive and organizational data and positioning, and uncovers key challenges and implications for your community. The plan is developed that includes a refined strategy, messaging, marketing and social media elements, resource requirements, prioritized audience segments, and a roadmap for content and technology requirements. 
  • Implement & Evolve : Build a Community and Realize the full value of a vibrant online community. In this phase, TargetSource works with your team to implement any required technologies and run an online community beta with seeded content and early access for key community members. TargetSource offers customizable services designed to help maintain and grow your online community over time. TargetSource services can either assist in hiring, training and ramping new community management personnel or can temporarily serve as your community management and monitoring function.

Peter Cheng: Peter is a people with passion, he oversees business and community development, including strategic partnerships with open source community, partners, customers and other industry leaders. Peter was open-source community pioneer since 2001 began to participate in the development of the largest open source community Huihoo.org. In the past eight years, Peter has been committed to the business model based on open source in research and practice. He also serve as general speaker at IBM DeveloperWorks, Redhat Conference,  MindTrek Finland, China Software Conference.


Clint Lim: Clint is an on-line interactive experience expert.  In the past Decade, he has won design awards directions, including the first session of the South Korean web page design is the best award, the first session of the South Korean Media Industry Of competition to encourage Award; Mr. Lim has prepared a "online advertising from one to ten," a book published by the South Korean one. At the same time he was South Korea's Sungshin Women's University Media and Information Science part-time professor.
